Splashing around

Liam is almost too big for his baby bath. We are thinking about moving up to the big bath but I would like to save my back for a little bit longer!

Social Butterfly

Liam has been a busy boy lately, learning how to swim, and meeting up with new and old friends.

Today we are going to the Nundah Clinic for Mother's Group. I made a chocolate slice but as usual burnt it... I'm such a Domestic Goddess! Bon appetit everyone .....

Have a lovely day!

Swimming Sensation

Liam had his first swimming lesson on Saturday ... he got a gold star for being such a clever boy. There were no tears, just lots of splashing and kicking! Move over Thorpey ..... there's some new talent emerging!!!!

Long summer days

It was my birthday on Friday!!! Unfortunately I am now quite definitely on the wrong side of 30. I had a great day - had lunch at the Full Moon in Shorncliffe with Kerrie and Liam, on a table overlooking Moreton Bay. We basked in the sea breezes and enjoyed a glass of sauvignon blanc with our salads. It was very relaxing and Kerrie and I caught up on all the goss.

Then on Saturday, Zane gave me a leave pass and I spent the afternoon with Kerryn and Jenni ... it was great to catch up! And on Saturday night, Zane, Liam and I went to dinner at the local Thai restaurant, Thai Chada. If anyone reading this is on the north side, do try it, the food was sensational and we had a fabulous time. Liam was a good boy and slept the whole time.

Sunday was another good day, we drove up to Moffat Beach (just north of Caloundra) and met up with the Masons and the Desmonds for Sunday lunch. We went all out and had burgers on the beach ... it doesn't get much better than that! It was a scorcher of a day so we all had a dip in the ocean. The water was glorious.

I'm on my own this week as Zane has business to attend to in Japan. He'll be back on Saturday. I will be having a visitor though on Wed and Thurs nights - Ann is coming to stay as she has a course in the city to do. Brent is coming over on Wed night for dinner, and then on Thursday night I have cheekily booked Ann in to babysit while I go out for dinner with Rach, Rach and Kez. Should be fun!

I've attached some pics of my beautiful boy ... he has got SIX teeth coming through on the top at the moment! He also has a cold, so he's not the happy little sausage he usually is. He's been very brave though under the circumstances. I had to include the one of him asleep in his cot ... I never know what I might find when I peep in there now ... he has worked himself into all sorts of wacky sleeping positions!
