My First Mother's Day!

Hi all,

I was very spoilt for my first Mother's Day. I got lots of cuddles and kisses in the morning, and then the boys took me out to lunch at the Golden Palace in the Valley for Yum Cha ... it was great fun! Unfortunately there is only a couple of pics of us at Yum Cha and they are blurry but I will post them anyway.

Waiting in line, feeling the excitement mounting ...

Since we got over our tummy bugs Liam has been very busy catching up on lost time. He is now cruising the furniture, and he can hoist himself up from sitting to standing position all by himself! We are soooo proud. He is getting very fast with the crawling too! He also loves waving at anyone and everyone.

The other pics I have attached are from our visit to the Greek Festival on Sunday. Yassou!

Lockdown

Well, last Friday was Liam's first day at childcare. He had a great time, playing with all the other bubs and painting and he even had a good long afternoon nap. He didn't miss his mummy at all! Unfortunately though he took a little souvenir home - a nasty tummy bug which started on the Saturday night with vomiting every 15 - 30 minutes right through the night, then hourly, then eventually it got down to three hourly, then the diarrhea started ..... to describe the whole experience as "hideous" would be a gross understatement. Then, horrors, I was struck down with it! More all-night vomiting, diarrhea etc. As a result the house was placed in lockdown, no one has been able to leave or enter the premises ... everything has been disinfected, soaked, bleached, whatever it takes. Trying times............. Thankfully Zane only got a very light dose of it and was still able to look after me and Liam when we were in our darkest hours. I think he was very relieved to go back to work today!

Kylie and Shane's Wedding

Kylie, Ange & Jen getting ready The Bride and Groom

Shane preparing to claim the garter with Jen the other bridesmaid in background

My dear friend Kylie and her handsome partner Shane tied the knot on Saturday. I was called up for bridesmaidly duties ... it was a very easy gig as Kylie did not get stressed at all! She was a perfect bride. It was a beautiful wedding as you can see from the pictures. I included a picture of the other bridesmaid, Jen, so you can see what the bridesmaid dresses looked like ... a very challenging dress to wear! It kept no secrets....
Even so, a great time was had by all in very convivial surroundings.

Anzac Day

Hello Diggers,

We paid our respects to the great Anzacs at the Masons and enjoyed a bbq and lots of beer and wine. The kids played, the sun shone, it was great fun.

Liam can wave bye-bye now! He is such a clever boy.
