Merry Christmas!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.

We spent the day at Zane's Dad's house. There were about 18 of us. It was a great day. There were mountains of prawns, morton bay bugs, ham, salads and Jacki cooked a fantastic roast turkey. So it was a traditional Christmas, Queensland-style.

Unfortunately (some might say) it was a bit too cool for us to have a dip, but that didn't stop the kids.

Moora Park

On Sunday we went to Moora Park for a catch up with Kerrie, Sophie and Toby. I never get to see her any more now that she is working all the time!

A great time was had by all. The kids played and Kerrie and I drank cups of tea and ate Christmas cake. A great way to while away a Sunday afternoon.

A Visit from Grandma Ann

We had a lovely visit from Zane's Mum last week. She arrived on Friday and went home on Wednesday. Liam was absolutely besotted by her. Zane and I were feeling very left out as the mutual adoration between the two of them reached fever pitch!!!

As usual, Ann arrived with boxes of goodies for Liam. He is now a very spoilt grandson.

We had a Christmas dinner and exchanged gifts one night as we are not going to be seeing Ann on Christmas day. Unfortunately Brent was in China, but we had a drink for him.

The festivities continued the next day with Liam having his own Christmas dinner and more pressie opening

All in all, a good time was had by all!
