It has been a fairly quiet month and hence the lack of blogging action. We had a bit of excitement in the first couple of weeks of March with my birthday and Zane and I having our first "date night" since James was born. We went to Mario's at Hendra for dinner, which was very nice indeed. Then, the following week, Ann and Ian came to stay for a few days and we went our for dinner again! This time we went to Gusto's at Portside Wharf. I loved it there and would happily eat there every night of the week.
We also went out for breakfast with the Masons the Sunday after my birthday to Sonoma's at Sandgate. We had a lovely morning frolicking in the sun on the Sandgate shoreline, reminiscing about Preshy and Jakey and when Mum and Dad lived in Brighton.
Another highlight was a picnic we had with Ann and Ian at a big park in Chermside (can't remember the name of it - it's where the Kidsafe playground is) and a Saturday night roast chicken dinner at our place with Ann, Ian, Brent and Penny. Dad - I made Yorkshire Puddings! They didn't turn out quite as good as yours but Zane said I wasn't far off.
Zane's been really busy with work so we are looking forward to a nice quiet Easter. This last weekend was the first one that he hasn't had to work for about the last two months, so it was great spending two whole days with him!
More exciting news - James now has two bottom teeth!!! And a top one is breaking through but it's not quite there yet. We have had lots of dribbling and a bit of grizzling but overall it hasn't been too bad.
Liam has been great. He is loving his new kindy and I have really noticed an improvement in his speech. He is learning lots of new songs. He seems to have finally settled down after all the upheavals of the last few months and is blossoming with confidence and happiness again. And wonders will never cease - none of us have been sick for the last month! Hooray.
I hope everyone else is well and happy and not working too hard.
Ange xx
