Now that we have two children we have discovered just how hard it is to get a shot of everyone looking at the camera, smiling and not blinking at the same time. Here are two attempts - not quite but nearly there!

James, on the other hand, well it's impossible to take a bad shot of our little lamb chop! Or should I say "ham hock" ... he's very well padded for the winter!!!!!

Bean Bag fun

Here's what happens when you try to fill a bean bag with a nearly-three year old in the room:

Disaster!! You will note the woefully-inadequate dustbuster lying dormant off to the side - we had to get the big guns out to clean up this mess! Bean bag beans are fascinating little things. They slip and slide everywhere and get into everything. They stick together and roll for miles - and provided endless fun for Liam and James ... Liam thought it was snowing!! The faster I tried to rescue the beans, the faster Liam emptied the remainder of the bag, and the faster James snuffled along behind us hoovering as many of them into his mouth as he could!!!!! Not good for the blood pressure!!!!!!!!

Anyway, here's the finished result:

Peace has been restored and we can see Liam's bedroom floor again!
