Enjoying a Macca's soft serve cone

Riverside Pier

Another highlight was, surprisingly, at the local Stafford shops, where they had a reptile display and Liam got to pat a snake, a crocodile, a possum and a lizard. No photos were taken but a good time was had by all.
We had a very excellent weekend. Zane's Mum and Ian popped down for a quick visit and we had a great bbq lunch at the local park with them, and Brent came too.
Brent and Penny joined us for dinner on Saturday night, and brought their Mii's over, so we had a nice dinner cooked by Zane and then got stuck into a marathon Wii session. Sore heads and sore muscles were felt by all the next day. But there was no time for rest because we had been invited to friends of Brent and Penny's for lunch, who have just recently moved near us and have three boys, and the youngest two are the same age as our boys. So it was a lovely afternoon, and they boys had so much fun checking out the play equipment which included a fort, a tyre swing, slides, monkey bars - the works. Who needs to go to the park when you can have all that in your own back yard??
