Newsflash

I'm 12 weeks pregnant!!!!!!

I don't have any pictures yet but we are having our first scan on Thursday (Valentines Day), so may have a couple of pics to post after that. We are extremely excited and can't wait to have a little brother or sister for Liam.

Now that our family is expanding we have decided to upsize our car. Sadly my beloved Honda HRV (formerly the O'Dowd's family car) will have to find another home. We have been researching cars and finally narrowed it down to making a choice between the Honda CRV or the Mitsubishi Outlander. I like the Honda, Zane likes the Mitsubishi. It's a gridlock!! What do you think?? Leave your vote in the comments section below. I would love to hear your thoughts.

The Mitsubishi Outlander

The Honda CRV

We met the Masons for breakfast yesterday at The Coffee Club and then went to a park near their new home which was lovely. The excitement is reaching fever pitch as we are eagerly anticipating and planning our big family reunion in April. The O'Dowds are coming all the way from England and the Warrens are leaving Tutukaka in NZ to become landlubbers for a couple of weeks. It will be the first time in 10 years that our family has all been together. And the first time that the O'Dowds will meet Master Liam!!!! So we are almost beside ourselves with the excitement of it all.

Sorry but my vote goes to the Mitsi. We had one as a rental car a while ago and I thought it was pretty good. Especially liked the continuous torque gearbox which made for EXTREMELY smooth driving. Also, I think the new shape CRV has gone too poncey.

Just to balance up the vote I have to say I'm with you, Ange. The CRV gets my vote, mainly because we are also replacing our car and have decided on a CRV. I'm sure the Mitsi probably has better features, but in my opinion the CRV looks nicer. And let's be honest, looks is the most important thing. Who cares about torque gearboxes or whatever they are??
