You may have heard about the dump of rain that Brisbane got in the last couple of weeks. We were only moments away from the worst hit areas in Brisbane!
Parts of the Royal Brisbane Hospital and Windsor (2 suburbs away from us) were completely under water. Roads were closed, homes evacuated, cars and property destroyed, and lots of people were left stranded. I'll leave it up to our resident Meteorologists (the Masons) to give you the finer details, but in layman's terms, it was very wet! Here are some before and after pictures of the Kedron Brook which is just around the corner from our house:
